START2ACT project launches first chapter of interactive e-learning on energy efficiency.

Summer has been a busy season for START2ACT – apart from the Knowledge Base, our Interactive Online Platform was extended with Energy Saving Competition and, most recently, with the first chapter of our E-learning.

Similar to all our tools, the e-learning was developed by our experts using their comprehensive knowledge and experience on energy saving practices in the office and at home. However, we applied a creative approach to the e-learning structure, as we abandoned the practice of using standard presentations or webinars and created our unique and tailored e-learning environment instead, with Geonardo’s office as an example.

Be ready to learn through witnessing the real struggles and best practices of our employees and managers in order to reach comfortable working conditions for all while contributing to increased energy efficiency.

The e-learning is divided into three modules covering energy efficiency at work and at home as well as smart energy management. The modules are further subdivided into chapters which provide useful tips on reducing energy consumption through behavioral changes in using lighting, heating, air-conditioning, office equipment and other appliances.

Additionally, the e-learning is aimed at teaching managers of SMEs and start-ups how to engage their employee engagement in energy efficient practices at the workplace. The managers can also learn about smart procurement, monitoring and metering in the bid to cut the energy bills of their companies.

Our e-learning is engaging, fun and interactive. If you are an employee or a manager at an SME or start-up, check out the first chapter on energy efficiency and lighting here (registration required). More chapters to follow soon!
